Robin Oodunt Profile
Originally from the island of Mauritius, Robin came to France at the age of 20 to study Business Management. While studying, he was also working in F&B in several 5* Relais & Chateaux and Michelin Star Restaurant such as “La Cabro D’Or, Oustau de Baumaniere, Hostellerie les Frênes, La Chèvre d’Or ”.
After receiving his Master's degree and a specialization in Electronic Marketing, he joined the 5* Relais & Châteaux “Hostellerie Les Frênes”, where he was in charge of all e-commerce and e-marketing for the hotel as well as the operational development which included implementing cost control, analytic accounting (P&L), business and marketing planning.
After 3 years in that position, Mr. Oodunt joined the SLH 5* Hotel “Château Eza” as Assistant General Manager in charge of F&B as well as the marketing side of the company. During this time, the hotel was awarded a 1 star Michelin for his restaurant. In 2010 Mr. Oodunt became the General Manager and Château Eza was designated as one of the Best Hotels of the World from Travel and Leisure Magazine.
